Glenn Beck – ARE YOU SERIOUS??

In the wake of the tragedy in Japan this past weekend leaving thousands dead and more missing while others are trying to get some sort of normalcy back, Glenn Beck has to pop his head up from the sand to draw some ridiculous attention. 

During his radio show this week Glenn made the most obscure remarks I have ever heard refereeing to the tragic disaster as a “message being sent” by God.

“I’m not saying God is causing earthquakes…I’m not saying that either. What God does is God’s business.  But I’ll tell you this, whether you call it Gaia or whether you call it Jesus, there’s a message being sent,” said Beck. “‘Hey, you know that stuff we’re doing. It’s not really working out.  Maybe we should stop doing some of it.’ I’m just saying.”

Seriously, Glenn what happened to you?  You used to be a respected pundit and someone people looked to for a view – regardless if you agreed or disagreed with your view it was still an educated opinion.  But to come out and say that “God” is sending a message to us in forms of death, tragedy, earthquakes, and tsunami’s is just crazy-man talk. 

Regardless of your religious views and beliefs, are you “just saying” that God doesn’t like Japanese people?  Are you saying that God no longer communicates in miracles but kills thousands of people to prove a point, or are you saying that you have turned wacko and believe that every action is a result of God’s wishes good or bad.  

Using your theory of God’s message being sent in a form of mass destruction and death; would you say that he hated the Jews during the holocaust, of liked the Russians more than the Ukrainian’s during the Ukrainian Genocide and/or if your reasoning is not through man made actions but through mother nature, your indicating that he hated the people of New Orleans when he threw Hurricane Katrina at them and caused destruction and death.

Seriously Glenn, you’ve had such an explosion in your career from a nobody  radio disc jockey to a leading Fox News pundit and successful author, radio host and more.  We all know about your womanizing, your alcoholism and your many demons and applaud you for overcoming your addictions.  We continue to enjoy your history lessons about The Founding Father’s of America and don’t get to offended when you talk to us “American’s” like were a bunch of idiots (which only translates that you believe your audience are a bunch of nitwits).  But to really state and seriously believe that God’s message and intentions for creating an earthquake and tsunami that potentially might lead to a nuclear meltdown and continued death is His way, then you have some serious issues, “just saying”.

The Japanese people should be more offended by your comments than a comedian trying to create light of the situation.  At least what Gilbert Gottfried and others joked about was light-hearted compared to your far out theory of a message being sent!  By the way Glenn did He tell you what the message was the last time the two of you spoke?
